How do I clean the entrance and exit needles?

To clean the exit needle, remove the pod holder assembly and detach the funnel, then insert a straightened paper clip into the exit needle to loosen any coffee grounds. To clean the entrance needle, lift the brewer handle, carefully insert a straightened paper clip into both holes on the underside of the lid, and gently move it around. After cleaning either needle, run two water-only brew cycles. (Page 3)
