How do I set up the machine for the first time?

Switch the appliance on by pressing the 'On/Off' dial and follow the on-screen prompts in the 'Language choice' menu. On first use, the appliance will ask you to configure language, volume unit, date, clock, auto-off, auto-on, water hardness, automatic rinsing, and whether a filter is present. If you unplug your appliance, you will have to reset some of these settings. (Page 7)
