What should I do to prepare my air conditioner for long-term storage or extended periods of non-use?

First, operate the air conditioner in Air Circulation mode for 2 to 3 hours to dry out the internal mechanisms. Then turn off the circuit breaker, disconnect the power cable, and remove the batteries from the remote controller. Clean the air filter and install it back in the indoor unit before storing.
