What is the correct way to set the thermostat for normal cooling conditions?

For normal cooling, select High Cool or Med Cool with the thermostat knob set at the midpoint, which is position 5 or 6. For maximum cooling, select High Cool with the thermostat turned to the highest available number. For quieter or nighttime cooling, select Low Cool with the thermostat at the midpoint. (Page 7)
