What causes image burn on the TV screen and how can I prevent it?

Image burn occurs when a fixed image is displayed on the TV screen for a long period of time, causing it to become permanently imprinted on the screen. To prevent this, avoid displaying a fixed image for 2 or more hours on an LCD screen. Note that image burn is not covered by the warranty. (Page 9)
