To clean the drain pump filter, open the lower cover cap using a coin, turn the drain plug to pull out the hose, then unplug the drain plug to allow water to flow out into a vessel. Once water stops flowing, turn the pump filter open to the left, remove any foreign material, then turn the pump filter clockwise, reinsert the drain plug, and close the lower cover cap. Be careful when draining if the water is hot — allow the water to cool before cleaning.
