How do I drain water from the air compressor's tank?

Set the power switch to '0' (off), turn the regulator knob counter-clockwise, pull and hold the safety valve ring until pressure is minimized, tilt the unit slightly and open the drain valve with a container under it. Close the drain valve when draining is complete.
