At what minimum height must the MHP1000SQ dryer be installed in a garage, and why?

The dryer must be placed at least 18 inches (46 cm) above the floor for a garage installation. This is required because gasoline and other flammable vapors are heavier than air and can accumulate near the floor, creating an explosion or fire hazard. If using a pedestal, the 18-inch clearance applies to the bottom of the dryer. (Page 6)
