Why are my clothes taking too long to dry?

Common causes include a clogged lint screen, a blocked exhaust vent or outside exhaust hood, an exhaust vent that is too long or has too many turns, or a room temperature below 45°F (7°C). Check air movement by holding your hand under the outside exhaust hood after running the dryer for 5–10 minutes; if you feel no airflow, clean or replace the exhaust system. (Page 20-21)
