How do I update the firmware on the Netgear AC1600?
The modem router automatically checks for newer firmware when connected to the Internet and displays a message at the top of the page if new firmware is available. Click the message and then click Yes to upgrade. Alternatively, you can manually upload new firmware through ADVANCED > System Settings > Firmware Upgrade. Do not interrupt the upload process by closing the browser or turning off the modem router.
