How do I bake a cake in the SD-2501?

Mix the cake ingredients in a separate bowl, then line the bottom and sides of the bread pan with baking parchment before pouring in the mixture — the kneading blade must be removed from the pan before adding the cake mixture. Select menu 15 (Bake only) and use the Timer pad to set the baking duration, with a maximum baking time of 1 hour 30 minutes. To check whether baking is complete, insert a skewer into the centre of the cake — it is ready if no mixture sticks to the skewer when removed. (Pages 18, 39)
