How do I program my cat's microchip into the cat flap?

Press and hold the button in the battery compartment for about 5 seconds until the red LED appears to enter Learn Mode. You will have 60 seconds to position your cat's head in the tunnel so the cat flap can read the microchip ID. Once the microchip ID is learned, the cat flap will unlatch and the red LED will turn off. (Page 3)
