How do I prepare the Power Cooker Express for first use?

Before using the Power Cooker Express for the first time, wash the Inner Pot, the Lid, and the Rubber Gasket with warm soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Make sure the Rubber Gasket is seated properly inside the Lid before use. To confirm correct fitting, fill the Inner Pot with water about 2/3 full as a test. (Page 9)
