Why does my body weight measurement show as inaccurate?

Place the scale on a hard, flat surface and ensure it has been properly calibrated by stepping on one foot until the LED screen lights up, then wait for 'CAL' to appear. Incorrect placement or soft surfaces like carpet can cause inaccuracies.
