When should I replace the water filter?

The filter indicator turns Light Pink after approximately 270 gallons of use (about 5 months), and turns Red after approximately 300 gallons (about 6 months), signaling it is time to replace the filter. If water is not dispensing or is dispensing slowly, the filter may be clogged and should be replaced immediately. In areas with high lime content in the water, the filter may need to be replaced more frequently than every six months. (Page 4)
