How do I open the door if there is a power outage during a wash cycle?

In the event of a power outage, first press the power button and pull out the mains plug, then open the service flap and drain the water following the drain pump instructions. After draining, pull the emergency release downwards with a tool and release it to allow the door to be opened, but do not open the door if water is visible through the glass as escaping water may cause damage.
