How should I clean the exterior of the washing machine?

For the control panel, clean with a soft, damp cloth without using abrasive powders or cleaning pads, and do not spray cleaners directly on the panel. For the cabinet, clean with soap and water. After finishing the day's washing, turn off the water taps and leave the door open to allow the inside to dry. (Page 17)
