The minimum clearance for stable operation is: 1 in. (25 mm) on the sides, 1 in. (25 mm) on top, 2 in. (50 mm) at rear, and 1 in. (25 mm) at front. If both a washer and dryer are installed in the same location, the front must have two unobstructed air openings for a combined minimum total area of 72 in.² (465 cm²). (Page 14)
