What type of detergent should I use to prevent excessive suds?
Use high efficiency (HE) detergent to prevent oversudsing and follow the recommended types and amounts. Reduce the detergent amount for soft water, small loads, or lightly soiled loads, and do not use Non-HE detergent. (Page 19)
