Why does the washer door not open after operation?

Press or tap Start/Pause (Hold to Start) to stop the washer and wait a few moments for the door lock mechanism to disengage. Make sure all water in the drum is drained, as the door will not open if water remains. If the washer was paused after water was supplied, the door cannot open until one minute has passed. (Page 19)
