Why is my washer making excessive noise or vibrating too much?

Make sure the washer is installed on a level, solid floor and that the shipping bolts have been removed. Also check that the washer is not contacting any other object and that the laundry load is balanced. Overalls or metal-decorated clothes and metal objects such as coins can also cause noise during washing, which is considered normal. (Page 18)
