How can I test my vehicle's alternator performance using the SC1308?
Connect charger to battery as specified, start vehicle with headlights/accessories on, rev engine at 2000 rpm for 30 seconds, and read voltage display. A reading between 13.4 & 14.6 volts indicates a well-functioning alternator (Page 9)
