How do I perform vertical steam smoothing for hanging clothes or curtains?

Hang the item on a heat-resistant surface and start the steam ironing function. Hold the steam iron in a vertical position, press and hold the steam burst button [10], and lightly touch the fabric with the soleplate to remove creases. Never steam smooth clothes while they are being worn, and always let items dry completely before using or storing them. (Page 13)
