How do I use the self-cleaning function?

Fill the water tank, set the temperature control to the highest setting, and switch the product on. Once the set temperature is reached, press and hold the self-cleaning and anti-calc button [2] for approximately 5 seconds until indicator [9] starts flashing. Hold the steam iron horizontally over a sink with the soleplate facing down and wait until no more steam or dirty water escapes — the product will switch back to steam mode automatically. (Page 15)
