How do I format a USB Hard Drive for recording?
Connect the USB Hard Drive to one of the TV's USB connections, switch on both the drive and the TV, then select Recordings and follow the on-screen instructions. Note that formatting removes all files from the USB Hard Drive, and the drive is formatted exclusively for use with this TV. A USB Hard Drive installed on your TV will need reformatting before it can be used with a computer.
