10 totalWhat are the correct steps to connect the Uiw4020cog to my TV and internet?
Connect the Ethernet cable from the Residential Gateway/ONT Router to the RJ45 connector on the rear of the UHD Receiver. Then connect the HDMI cable from the receiver to the HDMI socket of your UHD TV. Finally, connect the DC jack of the Power Adaptor to the back of the UHD receiver and then plug the Power Adaptor into the mains wall socket. (Page 13)
What should I do if there is no image displayed on my TV screen?
Make sure the HDMI cable is firmly connected to the TV and check that the TV is using the input associated with the Set-Top Box. If the problem persists, reboot the Set-Top Box. (Page 15)
What should I do if there is no sound coming from my receiver?
Check the volume level and the mute status of both the TV and Set-Top Box, then reboot the Set-Top Box. If the device connected to the HDMI port cannot decode the digital audio format, go through the receiver menu and select the PCM format as the audio output option. (Page 15)
Why is my remote control not working?
Point the remote control directly at the decoder and check the status and direction of the batteries. Also check the programming code on the remote control. (Page 15)
How do I install batteries in the remote control?
Open the battery compartment and insert the two supplied AAA batteries according to the polarity markings (+ and -) inside the compartment, then close the battery compartment. The green LED will blink with each key press to confirm the remote is working. (Page 12)
How do I reduce the display resolution using the side panel button?
Press and hold the PAIRING BUTTON on the right side panel for a very long press (more than 8 seconds) to reduce the resolution to 480p. This button is located on the right side panel of the receiver. (Page 9)

Safety Recommendations
Remember Safety First
Using equipment safely Your receiver has been manufactured to meet European safety standards, but you must take care if you want it to perform properly and safely. Equipment connected to the protective earth of the building installation through the mains connection or through other equipment with a connection to protective earth and to a cable distribution system using coaxial cable, may in some circumstances create fire hazard. Connection to a cable distribution system has therefore to be provided through a device providing electrical isolation below a certain frequency range (galvanic isolator, see EN 60728-11 or equivalent). It is important that you read this booklet completely, especially the safety instructions below. If you have any doubts about the installation, operation or safety of receiver, please contact your supplier. To avoid the risk of electric shock s$ISCONNECTTHERECEIVERFROMTHEMAINSSUPPLYBEFOREYOUCONNECTTHERECEIVERTOORDISCONNECTITFROM ANYOTHERequipment.
