Can I add dishes after a cycle has already started?

Yes, you can add items anytime before the main wash starts. Lift the door latch to stop the cycle, wait for spraying to stop, then open the door and check that the detergent dispenser cover is still closed — if it is, you can add items. Close the door firmly and press START/RESUME; the dishwasher resumes after a 5-second pause. (Page 14)
