How do I properly load dishes in the dishwasher to get the best cleaning results?

Load dishes so they are not stacked or overlapping, allowing water spray to reach all soiled surfaces and water to drain from all surfaces. Remove leftover food, bones, and toothpicks before loading, and ensure pot lids and handles do not interfere with spray arm rotation. For the bottom rack, load plates with soiled surfaces facing inward toward the spray, and secure heavily soiled cookware face down in the rack. (Page 9-10)
