Which items should NOT be washed in the dishwasher?

Items that should not be washed in the dishwasher include cast iron, gold-colored flatware, hollow-handle knives, pewter/brass/bronze, disposable plastics, tin, wooden ware, disposable aluminum pans, and bottles or cans with glued labels. Cast iron will rust and lose its seasoning, and wooden ware can warp, crack, or lose its finish. (Page 17)
