How do I winterize the Bestway 58515 Sand Filter Pump?

To winterize, first backwash the sand filter, then drain the pool according to the pool owner's manual. Disconnect both hoses from the pool and sand filter, completely pour the sand out of the tank, and dry all components. Store the sand filter in a dry location out of children's reach, as allowing water to freeze will damage the sand filter and void the warranty. (Page 9)
