How can I safely move a mower with a stalled engine?

If the engine quits working, engage or disengage the bypass valves once the exhaust manifold has cooled and place the steering control levers in the neutral position. Pull out on the bypass valve rod until it hooks over the edge of the slot to disable them for manually moving the mower. (Page 24)
