How do I inspect and replace belts on my mower?
Inspect belts regularly for wear or damage including cuts, tears, separation, weather checking, cracking, or excessive slipping before replacing them. Also check pulley grooves and flanges; ensure a new belt does not run against the bottom of the groove. (Page 34)
