How long does it take for ice cubes to be produced after connecting the appliance?

It may take up to 48 hours for the ice storage container to fill completely. Approximately 4 hours after the freezer compartment reaches the set temperature, the first batch of ice cubes will be ready. For hygiene reasons, discard ice cubes produced during the first 24 hours. (Page 21)
