How do I cancel a cycle that is already running?

Open the dishwasher door just far enough to expose the control panel, being careful of hot water that may splash out. Press and hold the Start button until the 'Active' LED goes out, then close the door and wait about 1 minute until the unit beeps, indicating it is done draining. After that, open the door and press the On/Off button to start a new cycle. (Page 13)
