Only ferromagnetic pans are suitable for induction cooking, including enamelled steel, cast iron, and special stainless steel utensils designed for induction cooking. You can check if your pan is compatible by testing whether a magnet is attracted to the base. Pans made of thin normal steel, glass, clay, copper, or aluminum should never be used. (Page 9)
