How do I set the water hardness for my dishwasher?

To set water hardness, first ask your local water utility company for the hardness value or use the included test strip. Open the door, switch on the On/Off switch, press the Info button for 3 seconds, keep pressing the > button until water hardness is indicated, make your selection with the +/- buttons, then press and hold the Info button for 3 seconds to save. The water hardness setting determines how much salt is dispensed by the water softening system.
