What detergent amount should I use for soft water?

For soft water with little soil, use 1 to 1.75 tablespoons (15-25 ml) of detergent. The detergent dispenser cup has measuring lines at 1 tablespoon (15 ml) and 1.75 tablespoons (25 ml). If you do not know your water hardness, use 15 ml and increase the amount if necessary to get your kitchenware clean.
