What should I do if the washer door will not open?

There are several possible causes: the child lock may be activated (deactivate by holding Temperature and Finish in buttons for 3 seconds), a cycle may still be running or the water level may be too high or too hot (wait until the cycle ends), or the power cord may be loose. If the door still cannot be opened after turning the washer off and back on, you can use the emergency door lock release, but first allow the water to cool and ensure the drum has stopped spinning.
