What does it mean when excess foam is detected during a wash cycle?

When excess foam is detected, the symbol Å lights up in the display, and the washer automatically activates additional rinse cycles to remove the foam, which will extend the program duration. Foam may also leak out from the detergent drawer. To prevent this from happening in future loads, use less detergent in subsequent wash cycles.
