Check the alignment using a spirit level and adjust the screw-in feet as necessary, ensuring all four feet stand firmly on the ground and lock nuts are tightened against the housing. To activate the childproof lock after the programme starts, touch and hold the E (3s) button for 3 seconds until the E (3s) indicator lamp lights up. To deactivate it, touch and hold the E (3s) button again until the indicator lamp turns off. When the childproof lock is active and a button is touched, the E (3s) button will flash as a reminder. In the event of a power outage, first press the power button and pull out the mains plug, then open the service flap and drain the water following the drain pump procedure. After draining, pull the emergency release downward with a tool and release it to open the door. Extended drying duration can be caused by fluff collected in the drum, ambient temperature higher than 30°C, or insufficient air circulation in the room. Running the Drum Clean (cold) programme without laundry or detergent can remove accumulated fluff, and ventilating the room can help reduce drying time. Additionally, laundry that has not been spun at the highest possible spin speed before drying will retain more moisture and require longer drying times. (Page 51)

To access the basic settings, touch and hold the Silent (Á) button for approximately 3 seconds. From there, you can adjust the volume of the end signal (positions off, quiet, medium, loud, very loud), the volume of the button signal, the brightness of the Touch-Display (levels 1–4), and switch the Drum Clean information signal on or off.
