How do I open the washer dryer door if there is a power failure?

In the event of a power failure, switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug, then drain the detergent solution. After that, pull the emergency release downwards with a tool to release it, which will allow the washer dryer door to be opened. Do not open the door if water can be seen through the glass, as escaping water may cause water damage. (Page 31)
