What precautions should I take when sewing buttonholes on the XG4099-001?

Always turn off the machine before attaching the buttonhole foot, and ensure the presser foot is installed with the correct orientation to prevent the needle from striking and breaking the presser foot. When cutting the buttonhole open with the seam ripper, do not put your hand or finger in the path of the ripper as it may slip and cause injury.
