How do I properly insert a needle into my sewing machine?

With the flat side of the needle toward the back of the machine, insert the needle until it touches the stopper. Then tighten the needle clamp screw securely with a screwdriver. Make sure the needle is fully inserted and the screw is tight, otherwise the needle may break or the machine may be damaged.
