What should I do if the machine is not working properly or makes an unusual noise?

Immediately stop using the machine and contact your authorized Brother Service Center or the nearest authorized Brother Service Center. If you notice anything unusual such as an odor, heat, discoloration, or deformation, stop using the machine and immediately unplug the power cord. Do not continue operating the machine if it has a damaged cord or plug, has been dropped or damaged, or water has been spilled on it. (Page 1)
