What conditions will prevent Remote Vehicle Start from working on the 2012 Cadillac SRX?

Remote start will not operate if the ignition is in any mode other than OFF, the transmitter is inside the vehicle, the hood is not closed, or the hazard warning flashers are on. It will also not work if there is an emission control system malfunction, engine coolant temperature is too high, oil pressure is low, the vehicle is not in Park (P), or two remote vehicle starts have already been used.
