How do I install batteries in the Canon EOS Rebel T2?
Slide the battery compartment cover release lever in the direction shown by the arrow to open the cover, then install two CR2 lithium batteries with the contacts (+and –) properly oriented as shown. Press the cover until it snaps shut. The date and time must be set after installation on DATE models. (Page 11)
