What precautions should I take with the camera's electrical contacts?

Do not touch the electrical contacts with your fingers, as corrosion may develop on the contacts, resulting in improper camera operation (p.4). After detaching the lens, put on the lens caps or place the lens with the rear end up to avoid scratching the lens surface and electrical contacts (p.5).
