How do I assemble the pen holder on the CMCE040?

Assemble the pen holder onto the soldering iron base by sliding the hook of the wire holder into the cavity on the base. The soldering iron pen must be in the pen holder before pressing the On/Off temperature control dial to turn on the tool. (Page 9)
