What should I do if my battery pack is not charging properly?

First, check the operation of the receptacle by plugging in a lamp or other appliance, and check if the receptacle is connected to a light switch that may be turned off. If charging problems persist, take the tool, battery pack, and charger to your local service center. Note that the charger will not charge a faulty battery pack, indicated by the charging light staying off. (Page 9)
