How should I prepare my snow blower for storage if I won't be using it for 30 days or longer?

Drain all fuel by running the engine until it stops. Change the engine oil. Remove the spark plug and pour approximately 1 oz of clean engine oil into the cylinder, then pull the recoil starter several times to distribute the oil and reinstall the spark plug. Clean debris from the engine and apply a light film of oil to rust-prone areas. Store in a clean, dry, well-ventilated area away from appliances with open flames.
